    just want to confirm, by looking at the picture this will not work to mount AMS style reels. Looks like it works only on stabilizer bushing type reels.

      The Traditional Gadget Adapter will mount on the front of the bow just below the grip. This a must for any one wanting to put a screw on bow fishing reel on a bow that does not have the front stabilizer bushing installed.

    Does you offer anything that will allow a sight to be non-permanently attached to a traditional recurve without having to tap a screw-hole? If not, any suggestions?

      A:

      The AMS Retriever Reel will not work with this adapter. To mount a AMS reel to a traditional bow you will need the AMS traditional mount bracket item number 5548.
