Q: What is the internal diameter of these shafts? Asked on 3/5/2013 by The Black Arrow from Arizona City, AZ Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Each one will be different. The first two numbers correspond to the outside diameter and the second two numbers show the wall thickness. For example, a 2016 will have an OD of 20/64 or 5/16 and the wall thickness will be .016; A 2117 would have any outside diameter of 21/64 and a wall thickness of .017. Answered on 3/5/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: it is stated that "We recommend 5/16" points with the 500 shafting, and 11/32" points with the 400, 340, and 300 shafting." so in the matter of choosing inserts/points one would use 11/32 for the 400, 340 and 300 spines? 11/32 is the internal diameter for those spines? Asked on 3/4/2013 by The Black Arrow from Arizona City, AZ Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: No, 11/32 is the outside diameter. With aluminum arrows the 4 numbers are actually the size of the shaft. The first two numbers over 64 will give you the outside diameter and the last two numbers will give you the wall thickness. For example, a 2016 would have an OD of 20/64" or 5/16" and the wall thickness would be .016". Answered on 3/4/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery

Q: Do you have directions on how to correctly use the shaft test kit? hopefully something I can print? Also on a fast flight recurve to shoot 3 under where would you start with your nock point.Im currently switching over and am ready to burn an expense bow. Asked on 10/21/2011 by Doc from Sheldon Vermont Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The shaft test kit is meant to help you find the correct spine arrow for you bow. You will want to watch the arrows and see if they are kicking or drifting left or right. If you are a right handed shoot, the arrow going left means that it is too weak, the arrow going right means that it is too stiff. You will want to start your nock point about a half inch above center. Answered on 10/22/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Do you have a chart that I could print out that depices what arrow is best for the pound of bow I will be using. ie: I have a 40 lb recurve should I use a 2016 aluminum arrow or a 2117?? Asked on 8/2/2011 by Bob the starter from Mount Holly NJ Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer Q: What glue would I use for the inserts. I will need to remove them while tuning them until they fly true. Asked on 1/30/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: For tuning it I would use a hot melt stick or ferr-l-tite stick. Answered on 2/1/2011 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery
Q: so does this set come with fletching or any arrow heads? because form the picture all it shows is the shaft and nocks. Asked on 1/3/2011 by Fronz the questioner from Orange, Ca Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The test kit is just shafts with nocks installed and loose inserts. You can then bare shaft tune to find what length to cut the arrows and what point weight.
