Q: Are these whistling points suitable for target practice? Will they penetrate 2 or 3D foam tragets and other types of archery targets? Asked on 8/23/2011 by Anonymous from Quebec, Canada Know the answer? Answer this question 4 answers A: Yes, you can use whistling points for target shooting. It may tear up your foam targets a little quicker then a field point. They are primarily used for ariel shooting. Answered on 8/23/2011 by Josh from 3Rivers Archery A: They really aren't suitable for normal target practice, unless you are shooting into particularly soft targets (shot-up 3-D targets, old hay bales, etc...) Answered on 1/6/2012 by Scowler from Baltimore, MD A: i use them ONLY on dirt bunkers Answered on 10/26/2011 by OLDCROW_ COYOTE from EAU CLAIRE, WI A: It would not stick well into 3D for me, but I doubt it was designed for that.
