Q: What range distance is effective in testing which point weight is best for a shaft? What should I be looking for? I'm using 60-65 spined cedar shafts with a 50# bow. Thanks Asked on 2/3/2013 by rar from Michigan Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: 10 to 15 yards should be plenty of room to test out your arrows. When using the different points you want to watch and see how long it takes the arrow to recover. The sooner the arrow straightens out the more forgiving it will be and the more energy it will have when it finds the target. Answered on 2/4/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Since a 5/16th test kit is not available, would it work to use the 11/32 kit to test 5/16 arrows? Asked on 12/11/2012 by Dave from Huntsville, AL Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, you would be able to glue the 11/32 field points onto 5/16 shafts. Answered on 12/11/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Would you consider making a field point test kit to match up with your "B" test kit arrow selection, which comes with both 11/32 and 23/64 arrows? Thank you......Pete Ross Asked on 10/25/2010 by Pedro Spearshaker from Lake Arrowhead , CA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: You can mount 11/32" points on a 23/64" shaft. It will show some of the taper (no more than .25"), but shouldn't be a problem. Answered on 10/26/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: I have no trouble fitting 11/32 points to 23/64 arrows. Answered on 4/7/2011 by EcoRover from Walkerville, Montana
