No, these are a type of field point. They do not qualify as a broadhead.

11/32 shaft will allow these points to fit flush.

      A:

I myself use a hardwood: oak, maple or ash wooden dowel shaft of 1/2 inche dia. The bodkin itself will easily mate up with a 11/32th " and up wooden shaft.

  • Q:

Can you hunt with these heads? What is the cutting diameter?
    Asked on 5/19/2011 by Anonymous

      A:

These are not for hunting. They are a medieval style point meant for target practice and replica arrows.

  • Q:

I like the look of these points. I have some exta length on my arrows now. To fly true I needed to leave them a little longer than I wanted them with 125 grain points. If I use heavier point I would need to shorten the shafts right? I was wondering how much I should shorten my arrows to accomodate 190 grain points vs my current 125 grain. I have about 1.5" to spare.

      A:

It is hard to say how much you would need to remove from the shaft to stiffen it up enough. I would leave it as is and then keep trimming back until they fly straight.
