Q: Are these broadheads made in the USA? Thanks Asked on 3/27/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes they are built in the USA. Answered on 3/29/2012 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Hello, I recently found I shoot .145 grain field point with a GameGetter 500 much better than the .125 heads I previously used. I shoot a martin hunter at 50 lbs 28' with arrows cut at 29.5. Do you think I should just purchase the .145 broadhead listed here or build arrows with a heavier point weight? I've struggled with finding the best arrow and just want to start shooting deer! Thanks Asked on 3/25/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: I would just stick with the 145 grain point. Answered on 3/27/2012 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery
Q: What is the size of the cut? Asked on 10/29/2011 by Dennis from Lillian, AL Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The 145 grain has a 1 1/32" cutting diameter. The 125 grain has a 1 1/8" cutting diameter. The 145 grain uses the same blades as the 100 grain. It just has a steel ferrule. That is why the 125 grain is larger. Answered on 11/1/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery A: 1 inch cut Answered on 11/15/2011 by Ballgame from Texas
Q: Is the ferrule made of steel on the 145 grain head or aluminum? Asked on 7/19/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: Steel, and it works. I shot a bear with this head two weeks ago in New Brunswick using my compound and an arrow that weighed 450 grs. including the phat head. In the back ribs through the lungs through the heart and out in front of the shoulder. The arrow broke off leaving only 3 inches in the bear head looked new except for the blood on it. Answered on 7/4/2012 by Steve from Jamestown RI A: The ferrule will be steel on the Phatheads. Answered on 7/21/2011 by Art from 3Rivers Archery A: STEEL Answered on 9/25/2011 by ROCK from NEW JERSEY
Q: are these heads replacement blades could tell by pic has anybody had any experience with them any feedback would be appreciated Asked on 9/26/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: Steel Force Phathead broadheads do have replacement blades. We currently do not stock them but can put in a special order for you. We are looking at carrying the replacement parts in the future but until then we can take special orders. Please give our warehouse a call at 866-587-9501 and our inventory manager will put the order in for you. As for experience shooting, I am afraid I have not shot them. The Phathead has a great reputation in the broadhead arena and we have have plenty of requests for them so I would say they do well, but I have not personally shot them. Answered on 9/27/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: The main blade is NOT supposed to be a replaceable blade, and I don't think SteelForce even offers a replacement for it. The bleeders DO have replacements. Answered on 1/1/2011 by Chance K from Texas
Q: How many grains are they? How hard are they to tune with a traditional recurve bow? Asked on 9/15/2010 by Hunter in AK from Anchorage Alaska Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The Steel Force PhatHead is offered in 125 grains and 145 grains in 4-blade. In 2-blade we offer a 190 grain model. As for tuning, it really would depend on bow set up, but you are not going to have any more issue than with any other broadhead. Answered on 9/16/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
