Answer this question 1 answer A: The 5/16 adapter will not seat properly in the ferrule and it will be more difficult for the broadhead to spin true. I recommend the long 11/32 adapter for the best fit. A little may stick out the bottom of the ferrule on the broadhead, but that will not make a difference as far as penetration or performance. Asked on 6/19/2011 by Bicster from Fayetteville, WV Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The bleeder blades are a piece of the ferrule that has been folded up and sharpened. You will not need to cut a slit in your shaft. In order to sharpen the bleeder blades you would need to use a file or stone, just like any other blade.
