Q: At some point the head will get dull. Can these be re-sharpened by the user or returned for sharpening? If they can be re-sharpened, what methods can the user employ to get them as sharp again? Asked on 7/23/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: These can be resharpened and the best way to sharpen these is with the KME Sharpening kit that we offer. The stones in this kit will work great on the hard Stainless Steel that these are made of. Answered on 7/28/2011 by Art from 3Rivers Archery A: These can be resharpened and the best way to sharpen these is with the KME Sharpening kit that we offer. The stones in this kit will work great on the hard Stainless Steel that these are made of. All you will have to do is take the broadhead apart and chuck the blade up in the jig and run it over the stone. After you have achieved the initial sharpness I would recommend to do the same thing on piece of leather to nock off the burr and they will be razor sharp again. Answered on 7/28/2011 by Art from 3Rivers Archery A: I bought their sharpener at their website and it's the best one I've bought. Use that per the instructions and finish it off on a leather strop. Waalaa razor sharp again. Answered on 1/23/2012 by Tom from WI

Q: how do the blood trails on these compare to 4-blade models such as magnus stingers or muzzy phantoms? mainly trying to find the best head for brushy country elk out of a 60 lb. recurve Asked on 2/11/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Blood trails will be a lot better with a 4 blade head Vs a 2 blade. Answered on 2/15/2011 by Art from 3Rivers Archery A: The broadhead that gives you a pass thru will give you the best trail. If the 4 blade passes thru, then similar hits will have more blood from the 4. The silverflame will outperform the 4 blade when bone is involved. Answered on 3/6/2011 by Dean from So. Md
