Q: I like the look of these points. I have some exta length on my arrows now. To fly true I needed to leave them a little longer than I wanted them with 125 grain points. If I use heavier point I would need to shorten the shafts right? I was wondering how much I should shorten my arrows to accomodate 190 grain points vs my current 125 grain. I have about 1.5" to spare. Asked on 4/29/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: It is hard to say how much you would need to remove from the shaft to stiffen it up enough. I would leave it as is and then keep trimming back until they fly straight. Answered on 4/29/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
