Q: can denatured alcohol harm cured epoxy or it will dissolve. Asked on 3/7/2013 by jake Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: No, denatured alcohol is not corrosive enough. If you want to break the bond heat is the best method. Answered on 3/7/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery

Q: I'm new to the insert thing,so where do you apply the epoxy? Asked on 6/15/2012 by Max Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: I put the epoxy around the shank of the insert. I then twist the insert as I push it into the shaft to make sure that I get good coverage. Keep a paper towel handy to wipe off the excess. Answered on 6/15/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Can I also use this to glue point adapters to my glue on broad heads Asked on 7/19/2011 by BIG_B from texas Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes that work's great for doing that . Answered on 7/20/2011 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Could boiling water be used to debond the product from carbon shafts?? and adapters and broadheads?? Asked on 7/8/2011 by Black Bear in the woods from NorthWest River,NL Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The water will not get to a high enough temperature. Your best best is to screw a field point into the insert and heat the field point. You should be able to get the insert out without damaging the shaft. Answered on 7/22/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Are you able to debond the epoxied parts?? i used this on my heritage 250 shafts with my points and brass adapters i bought from you guys, and i was wondering if i could seperate them Asked on 7/7/2011 by Black Bear in the woods from NorthWest River,NL Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: If you heat it up enough you should be able to break it loose. You may damage you shaft in the process, however. You will want to apply the heat to the field point, NOT TO THE CARBON. The heat can ruin the carbon. You will want to use as little as possible to get the job done. Q: Although the final set time for the product is 24 hours, what is the "working time" for the product (or how long do I have to spin / align my broadheads at a semi-rigid state? Asked on 9/27/2010 by KC from WV Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The AAE 2-part epoxy will give you an hour or so if you need to tweak your alignment. You will not need to hold it for the hour to make sure it doesn't move, I normally cover the entire taper, put point on, check the alignment and put aside with no contact with the tip and any surface and I haven't had any problem with alignment changing by the next day. Answered on 9/28/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Can this product also be used for wood shafts? Asked on 8/24/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: It can work on wood arrows, but you will not be able to remove the point once the epoxy sets (without breaking the wood).
