  • Q:

Is there any keys to putting a two blad broad head on?
    Does wood grain direction matter?

      A:

No, there is not a specific way that the broadhead needs to be mounted. As long as the broadhead and arrow spin true you will be fine. Some people like the broadhead to be vertical or horizontal. This will only affect the site picture. The arrow will be spinning in flight, negating any position that you put it in.

  • Q:

is this hot melt glue the same as ferr-L-Tie buy bohning
    Asked on 10/10/2011 by Anonymous

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Hot Melt glue has a lower melting point than Ferr-L-Tite glue. Some would also say Ferr-L-Tite is a bit more brittle (which would cause points to pop off on hitting hard surfaces). With the lower melting point additional friction (like shooting into compact targets) may cause a point to come off more commonly than with Ferr-L-Tite.

To remove the point after it is on the arrow you will just heat the point back up with a lighter and pull it off with a pair of pliers.
