      It works very well on stingers and other 2 blade heads. Pull the head through till it shaves hair its that easy

    Can this be used for a knife, or is the 3-blade version better for that. How about straight versus curved knife blades?

      The 3 blade cc doesn't work that well on knife blades but it works great for 3 bladed broadheads. The 2 blade works well on curved and straight blades

    i was comparing this sharpener to the "3-blade cc sharpener". i noticed this one sharpens at a 20 degree angle while the other one sharpens at a 30 degree angle. does the 20 degree angle produce a sharper blade? can this one be used on the woodsman elite - or is the 30 degree angle better for the woodsman elite? thank you.

      A:

      For sharpening all Woodsman broadheads you will want to use the 30 degree sharpener(3 blade CC). The 30 degree sharpener will allow you to get the correct angle on a 3 blade head and will not grab the tip like it would if you used the 2 blade CC.

      You can put the 3Rivers CC broadhead/knife sharpener on a key chain if you like. That is exactly what the hole in upper left is for. Great to have one of these on hand where ever you go.
