Been at it for a few hours with a KME broadhead sharpener (with KME provided stones) trying to sharpen STOS broadheads. Tried using the technique shown on the KME website as well as following the written instructions that came with the set. They are more dull now then when they came out of the package.
The STOS is advertised as being ground to 25 degrees. Is the KME alignment jig designed to sharpen at 22.5 degrees and therefore STOS incompatible? Regardless of pressure applied or stone used (five so far) establishing a consistent bevel and sharpening a STOS head is not happening with this KME system. Any suggestions?
