I understand these are said to work just as well on 2-Blade broadheads, but what would be your approach?

I would use an Accu sharp thin touch it up with a JewelStick. Thats the fastest way to do a 2 blade for me.

For two blades I prefer something like the accusharp gets them very sharp and is way easier and faster

These work very well. They're not a grinding wheel, but they're something you can take to
hunting camp and count on having very sharp heads. I'd buy them again.

  • Q:

How wide are these files? Will they sharpen magnus snuffer 170 grain 3 bladed heads two blades at a time?
Asked on 11/20/2011 by Bowman from Dublin, Georgia

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

The 6" file is 1/2" wide. The 8" file is 3/4" wide. And the 12" file is 1 1/8" wide. It is a little too narrower to sharpen both blades of a Snuffer.

Answered on 11/22/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
  • Q:

Is there a difference in the cutting power between the different sizes of file or is it just a size preference?

      A:

There is no difference in cutting power it is just size preference.
