This sharpener works on the same principle as the Lansky but is specially designed for broadheads.
The angled clamp positions the broadhead in the same position each time which allows quick touch-ups. It also uses a file as the sharpening medium compared to a stone on the Lansky. Stones wear quickly which causes them to "cup" which makes sharpening much more difficult. The file works the broadhead edge much more quickly than a stone.
The angles also more closely match the angles supplied on most broadhead by the manufacturers. This allows a quick sharpening of new, out of the package broadheads.
