    I have read recommendations to spread chalk on your Grobet files to keep metal filings from filling the teeth gaps on the file surface. Can this white gold honing compound, which I would buy for a leather strop, serve the same purpose as chalk if I spread some on the file. New to sharpening broadheads, so I just thought I'd ask.
