A:
The brass glue on points only come in 125 gr in 11/32" which would give
you a better front of center and also slightly more flex in your shaft
(arrow).

A:
I believe the lightest weight is 125 grains. Depending on the draw
weight of your bow, that should be good for most shooting.

A:
No, the only weight that is available is 125 grain.

A:
As far as I'm aware, these points come only in the 125 grain weight. Not that you asked, but I love these points. They look great, and the screw-on version really stays put. I predict you'll like them too, if you can accept the extra 25 grains.

I use the same diameter as the shafts 11/32 tips for those shafts that are 11/32 and 23/64 tips for those shafts that are 23/64. The taper is usually on the back end of the shaft. Same in your case? Love these tips.

Q:
Will these tips hold up well if they were shot at fairly hard wooden targets?
Also say your in a survival situation and lost your hunting arrow and only had a few of these in your kit; do you think in a pinch these will pierce flesh and bone well for hunting purposes?

A:
If you are shooting at wooden surfaces, you will most likely blunt the tip of the shafting if not breaking the arrow right behind the point. As for your survival situation, any field point will penetrate skin and flesh.... bone maybe not, but maybe so. I would not rely on it for hunting unless it was a life or death situation.

Q:
If I use screw-on brass points on my arrow shafts will I be able to change to glue-on broadheads later and have them properly mount, using the same shaft?

A:
Yes, the screw on points will leave some grooves in the taper, but the glue will fill those in and you will still have a good bond.

Q:
I shoot wild rosewood shafts that are fairly hard, I like the idea of being ably to unscrew the points to attach a stone broadhead later. My question is, do you know if the points will screw onto these shafts or is the wood going to be too hard for the threads to cut into and grip. Odd questoin, I know, but had to ask before I bought them.

The wood will not be too hard for the points to screw on. You should not have a problem using them.

Q:
so, we need to taper them, and then glue, but would these be good for beginners? if not, could you recommend some different ones that might be more suitable?

A:
These would be good for beginners. You can screw the point on without any glue. Or you can glue it on. We also have the steel field points. They will work equally as well, but there is no screw on option. Only glue on.

Q:
Im looking at these for my carbon shafts and i want to use the125 grain glue ons with the 125 grain glue on/glue in adapters the 5/16, can these be used with them?? or do i need to find another point for target practice??

A:
As long as you have the glue-in/glue-on adapters installed first you can install the glue-on brass point on it. I would go with the 5/16" diameter though to match the arrows.
