I bought one of the AMS reels for my son. His bow had threaded quiver mounting holes in his bow. The AMS reel bolted right to the bow, and we did not have to use any mounts. In my opinion you can not shoot to far with any bowfishing reel... So even your "slow" recurve will do the job. Answer this question 2 answers A: Yes.. You can purchase a bracket through 3 Rivers that is pre-drilled to fit this rig. The bracket comes with two rubber straps that can be wrapped around your bow and will not mar the finish on your bow. I have used this method with great results. Hope this helps. It mounted fine on my Hoyt Dorado. If your bow is drilled and tapped for mounting sights, accessories, etc. I believe it will work. I emailed AMS about my Hoyt and got a quick reply.
