  • Q:

What type of epoxy should I use ? Any specific 2 part epoxy or will any of them work ?

      A:

Most epoxy will work for a stabilizer insert. The best epoxy is a slow cure, not the quick 5-10 minute types. I recomend AAE 2-part epoxy (Item #8139). It has a 24 hour cure time.

  • Q:

Okay, I just need a bit of clarification here.

I have a vintage bow that I recently picked up that is missing the front insert, and the hole measures 5/16" in diameter. From what I'm reading though, it sounds like this insert (that 3rivers sells) requires a 7/16" hole, correct? So I'd either need to drill mine out more, or look for something smaller.

    Thanks.

You will need to get the 7/16 drill bit if you to put our inserts in.

These will be the same thread diameter but you may have to drill the plunger hole out just a little.
