      We have used these shafts in bows up to about 65#. You will be fine with a 53# bow.

    I noticed you answered a question eariler in regards to fletching. When you say no fletching is needed does that include vanes as well? I'm intrested in this product but I'm also not sure about the whole fletching/vane thing. Thank you for your help.

      No you do not need any Fletch with any fish arrow it is not need .

      When bowfishing you will not need any fetching on the shaft. If you do use fetching on your shaft when bowfishing it will act erratically in the water.
