Q: can you change the tape-on reel for screw-on reel because I need it? Asked on 4/4/2012 by alejandro Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: I do not have a kit for the screw on reel. If your bow has sight bushing I recommend looking at the AMS reels. They are going to perform much better than the drums. Answered on 4/5/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: I am very new to bowfishing so this is maybe a stupid question, but I have couple of bows and I was wondering what bow poundage this arrow is made for? Asked on 1/24/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Fish arrows are very stiff in spine and very heavy. As most shots will be close, the spine is not as important to shooting. I believe I spined one of my own a while back and it was for a 90# bow. Answered on 1/25/2012 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
Q: How exactly does one reel in this type of reel? Asked on 11/14/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This drum is meant to hold the line. Not to reel it in. You would pull the fish in by hand and then wrap the line around the drum once the fish had been caught. Answered on 11/15/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Does the arrow come with a slider on it already. Asked on 10/16/2011 by HDW from FT. Scott, KS Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer Q: Is there anything other than tape that I can use to attact it to my bow? I don't want the sticky adhesive from the tape left behind on my bow. Asked on 6/16/2011 by trento from Utah Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Nothing that will give you as good of a hold. Goo Gone works very well to remove the remaining adhesive when you take the reel off. The other option would be to get a traditional gadget adapter and the screw in reel. The adapter uses a Great Northern style rubber strap system to give you a mount for the reel. It will not damage the bow or leave the residue. Answered on 6/17/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Can I shoot the fish arrow off the shelf of an old Bear recurve? Asked on 6/15/2011 by Tony from Acworth, GA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, you can shoot a fish arrow of the shelf of any bow. I recommend not using any of the lay fletching when doing this. The lay fletching will deflect off of the shelf and give you erratic arrow flight. You are better off to use a bare shaft. Answered on 6/16/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: How much bowfishing line is included? Asked on 5/25/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: There will be approximately 50' of line in this kit. Answered on 5/25/2011 by Art from 3Rivers Archery
Q: what length is the included shaft? Asked on 4/20/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The arrow that comes with this kit is 32" from the valley of the nock to the back of the point. Answered on 4/21/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: I am extremely new to the sport of bow fishing. Are the AMS safety slides a necessity, or are they just optional? Asked on 4/20/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: They are optional but, highly recommended. They prevent the string from getting tangled and causing the arrow to snap back. Answered on 4/21/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: What else do I need to use it on a longbow? a rest? Asked on 4/20/2011 by Pon from Mty, Mexico Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This kit has everything you need to start fishing with a long bow. Answered on 4/20/2011 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
