Q: Hi guys,Which glue would work best on my string serving when it starts to unravel?? would like to find one to use as a quick fix and fletch tite does not seem to hold. Thanks Dave Nash Asked on 11/28/2012 by Just old Dave from Milford, IN Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The best glue that I would recommend for the serving is the liquid lok item number 4157. Answered on 11/29/2012 by Art from 3Rivers Archery A: You might try (Brownell's) Liquid Lock. I have used it to secure nock tying thread. I saturated the thread in question and let it take a set before using again. It takes a good while to dry. I don't know if it will work for you. Hope so. Good luck. It's shown under on the 3Rivers website under: Bows>String Building>String Making Tools Answered on 11/28/2012 by Anonymous
Q: will this work on inserts and nocks for carbon arrows? If not, what do you recommend for inserts and nocks for carbon arrows. Asked on 5/2/2012 by rar from Ypsilanti, MI Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, it will work on nocks and inserts, but I do not recommend it. You will want something that bonds stronger for the inserts. A two part epoxy or something like Insert Iron will give you a better hold. You should not have to glue in the nocks on carbon arrows; they are friction fit. If anything just use a small drop to help hold them in place. Answered on 5/2/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery

Q: Does Fletch-Tite Platinum work with 3river's water base shaft sealer, and what is the dry time? Asked on 1/23/2012 by Mr.Six from Stow, Ohio Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Yes, the Fletch-Tite Platinum will work with 3Rivers Water Based Sealer. Should be about a 2-5 minute dry time. Answered on 1/23/2012 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: I'm the one that originally ask this question, and after several attempts, I'm still unable to get Fletch-Tite Platinum to work with 3 River's Water based sealer. I called and "Asked the Experts" to find out what I was doing wrong because I was informed that this adhesive was compatible with the 3 River's sealer. I was told on the phone, (guessing by a different individual than the one that responded to this question), that Fletch-Tite Platinum would not work, and I should use Duco Cement with 3 River's water based sealer. I'm not complaining, 3 River's is a great and reliable company, and mistakes happen. I just thought this might be informative to anyone that is thinking about using Fletch-Tite Platinum with 3 River's water based sealer. Answered on 1/27/2012 by Mr.Six from Stow, Ohio
