Q: How do you prepare Easton aluminum shafts for fletching with feathers with this glue. Asked on 1/5/2013 by pop from Mt.Pleasant Michigan Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You will need to at least clean the shaft with alcohol. I would also recommend using a cap wrap to get the best possible surface to glue on the feather. Answered on 1/7/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Used a think ribbon of this glue on carbon shafts allowing at least 30 minutes to set before moving on the next feather. Everything looked good but two days later (and before the arrows were shot) the fletching was pulling off each arrow. Any thoughts on what is going wrong? Asked on 10/22/2012 by Nate's Dad Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: If it is on a Beman or an Easton shaft it needs a cap wrap because of the finish they use. Answered on 10/23/2012 by Dave from 3Rivers Archery
Q: I used this on my carbon arrows with excellent results, but when I tried to fletch my new Gamegetters the feathers pulled right off after drying all night. I'm assuming this has something to do with the glossy finish on the aluminum arrows, what adhesive can you recommend? Asked on 10/17/2012 by Paul from Missouri Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The coating on the outside of some aluminum shafts can lead to adhesion problems. I recommend using a cap wrap when using glue. The Feather Tape from Bohning will work well with or without the cap wraps. Answered on 10/17/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery A: I use the arrow mate glue on my wood/lacquer dipped shafts and it works great. I used to use the Beyond Bond Glue, and it worked ok, but it's meant for aluminum. Answered on 10/17/2012 by Anonymous

Q: Hello, Is it possible to get it sent to Switzerland (no need of a fast shippment and I can wait) ? Best regards Asked on 1/26/2011 by Drakho from Switzerland Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer Q: How long does it take for this glue to set? How long would you say it would take to fletch one arrow with 3 feathers? Asked on 12/17/2010 by Chris Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The packaging does not specify a set up time (other than "fast"), but experience shows to wait about 10-15 minutes between feathers. This is pretty standard with most fletching glues though. Answered on 12/30/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: Using a nice thin consistant glue line I give it a full 15 minutes. 12 minutes is not quite long enough if you are using a good helical. So.. 45minutes per arrow on a single arrow jig. Answered on 4/20/2012 by 7 Lakes from Seven Lakes, NC
