Q: Will it work with my Samick - Mini-Shadow Field Bow Asked on 1/16/2013 by Will+Bow Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: yes it works with longbows and recurves. Answered on 1/16/2013 by Dave from 3Rivers Archery A: I would imagine that it would work well. You would probably have to spread your feet wider because the bow is shorter but it should work just fine. Answered on 1/16/2013 by ginghis from Dallas, TX A: Yes it will :) Answered on 1/16/2013 by Crazy carver from San Diego CA
Q: I have a Chinese bow what type of stringer should I use? Asked on 4/12/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Chinese have many style of bows I would have to see a picture. Send it to dave@3riversarchery.com and I will be able to help you out. Answered on 4/12/2012 by Dave from 3Rivers Archery A: The Thunderhorn Superstringer would work, but I would be more inclined to use one with dual pockets. this is so the limbs are torqued evenly across the length of the limb. Q: When I try to use this stringer, my big end loop doesnt go far enough down the limb to ensure the pressure pad is in the curve near the end of the limb, is there any way to remedy this, and will it damage my bow if I try to use it? Asked on 3/19/2012 by RIc from New Boston, MI Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: With this stringer you will want to place the rubber pad just behind the string and stand on the stringers main string with two feet and then pull the bow upward. The rubber pad will stay in its place on the limb once pressure is applied allowing you to remove your hand from the rubber pad to slide the string in to the string groove. Release the pressure and remove the stringer and visually check both tips to insure that the string is correctly positioned in both top and bottom grooves.
