Q: I have an old 15 lb. recurve from my childhood that I want my children to be able to use, but either the grooves are too worn to hold a new string or the new strings have bigger loops in them. Would these work as a sort of slip on replacement tip, or is there a better solution? Asked on 12/7/2011 by Anonymous from Clinton, Iowa Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: No, for safety reasons it's time to retire the bow or send it of to be fixed. Answered on 12/8/2011 by Shawn from 3Rivers Archery
Q: I was just wondering if this is sold in pairs or if I need to order two...I noticed other products specified so I thought it'd be good to find out first. Thanks, you guys are excellent! Asked on 9/30/2010 by Jesse from Lacon, IL Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The plastic recurve tip protector is sold by the each and you only need one tip protector for your bottom limb, as it takes the greatest risk of being damaged. You do not need to have one on your upper limb, as it will make unstringing your bow difficult. Answered on 10/1/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery A: Just one per bow. You only need it on the bottom tip. Answered on 11/14/2011 by Mike from West Virginia.
