  • Q:

Do you have a photo of this applied to a bow? It would really help to see how it is installed. Thank you.

      A:

No, I do not have any pics of this rest and spacer already on a bow. The part in the bottom of the picture will go on the rest and the strike plate perpendicular to the arrow. The larger piece would then go over it.

  • Q:

DO I HAVE TO CUT IT INTO TWO PIECES IN ORDER TO GET THE PLATE AND REST?

      A:

To make this in to the rest and plate you would just start it on the shelf and then press it in the corner and then up the side of the window. Or you could cut it in two pieces.

  • Q:

how do you put it on the bow?

      A:

It has an adhesive backing on it. Take off your old rest material. Clean the area thoroughly with a denatured alcohol. This will help to make sure the adhesive gets a good bond. The rest and plate will go down over the spacer. The spacer will run parallel to the bow in the middle of the rest. The rest and plate should be on the shelf and running up the side of the sight window. The spacer is used to create a hump so that the arrow comes in contact with less of the rest and strike plate.

  • Q:

what is the spacer for and where do you install it?

      A:

You can put the spacer underneath the rest in-order to create a "bump" so your rest has less contact with the arrow. This can improve arrow flight. Just cut to size and lay it under the leather as you apply it in place.

  • Q:

How does the spacer install? Does it install parallel to the shelf or perpendicular to the shelf?

      A:

I always mount the spacer perpendicular underneath both the rest and spacer. This way you get a radiused "bump" that makes less arrow-to-shelf contact and normally improves arrow flight.
