      Depending on the cracks I personally would not shoot the bow most likely it will crack again on you and could cause damage to your self.

  • Q:

    Is Kwik-Fix® Super Glue at all flexible when cured? I want to fix a splinter in edge of the fierglass backing of my archery bow.

    I have tried Gorilla epoxy and another brand of super glue and the splinter pops open as soon as the bow is strung.

      I only make selfbows. I have made repairs to my selfbow using this glue
      to saturate small patches of silk material.

      This glue would be my first choice for fixing a splinter on a bow. I would sand all of the other glue out of the splinter that you have used and then use the Kwik fix. Once you have glued the splinter I would recommend to wrap the limb until dried. Once dried remove the wrap and sand any excess glue off the limb with some light sand paper and your good to go.

    Would you recommend this glue for tapered nocks on wood shaft? if not what do you recommend?

      A:

      Yes, you would be able to use this glue on the nocks. For the most part, any fletching glue will work to put the nocks on. It will normally not take more than a few drops to keep the nock in place.
