    Hi, I am new in the wonderfull world of traditional archery, but it is rappidly becoming a hobby of mine. I am seriously considering taking up bowmaking and I was just wondering if you could give me a list of Items I will need to order so I can make my first bow. I would like The minnimum number of Items I will need because I do not know if I will like bowmaking.

      This Draw knife works well and it holds its edge very well also. I would say I like this Knife over others because of rounded handles and its ability to hold and edge longer than the cheaper ones on the market.

    Is the blade 8" or is it 8" overall?

      Thank you for asking. Upon measuring the blade length of the 8" draw knife they are now 6" and not 8" as previously stated. The vendor changed lengths on us without our knowledge. The description is being updated for both online and in our free print catalog.
