    Hello, should I purchase 2 of these, or does it go only on the bottom, not the top as well? Would there be any downsides to having it on the top?

      A:

      You will only need to use a tip protector on the bottom limb. The only purpose of the tip protector is to keep the bottom limb tip from being scratched up when it touches the ground.

      Are you trying to put it on the top limb or the bottom limb? These are only meant to be used on the bottom limb. I would not recommend using one on both limbs.
