Q: Does this product eliminate the need for brush buttons or is it a good idea to have both? Asked on 8/16/2012 by Ric from New Boston, MI Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The string groove silencers are for helping the string not slap the limbs so hard. The brush buttons are for stopping brush from getting in between the limb an string. Answered on 8/16/2012 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery
Q: What is this made of? Calf hair? Will the sticking on the back will damage my bow or leave a stain, if i decide to take it off at one point? Asked on 7/20/2012 by Sophanya from Madison Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Yes, this is made from calf hair. The adhesive back will not damage the finish. You will just need to clean the residue off when you remove it. Answered on 7/23/2012 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery

Q: I am looking for this product BUT in brown. Do you carry brown calf hair string groove silencers????? Asked on 7/30/2011 by Signcutter336 from Eagle Pass,Tx Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer Q: How do these fasten to the bow? Asked on 12/2/2010 by Joe Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: They are adhesive back. Just a peel and stick application. I recommend cleaning the belly of the limb so the fit is secure and holds for a long time. Answered on 12/28/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
Q: Are these used in addition to string silencers (ie. Muskrat Fur) or do you use one or the other? Thanks Asked on 9/26/2010 by Grouch from Saginaw, MN Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You can use Calf Hair string groove silencers by themselves or with string silencers. It depends on how much noise you are trying to quiet. Many people use them with string silencers for the added benefit. Answered on 9/27/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
Q: I recently ordered these and installed them on my recurve and when I strung my bow the pressure of the string against them makes the outside edge come up. Almost peels off. Am I doing anything wrong? ie: applied the product to high/ low. Thank youl Asked on 9/10/2010 by trad 4 life from Fargo, ND Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: You also want to run a smooth object like a quil of a feather down the center(string groove)First and then smooth out the rest of the material. =perfect fit. Answered on 10/11/2012 by Curtis from Lebanon IN A: You need to make sure you have them securly in place before putting pressure on them, but they most likely will have some adjusting when the bow is first strung up. You might want to try moving them down a bit lower so not so much of the string is laying on them. Answered on 9/14/2010 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
