Q: Do limbsavers affect arrow speeds? Where do you guys recommend mounting them on a recurve limb? Closer to the riser or more on the "curve" of the limb? Seems like the curve would lead to more vibration dampening but I don't know how or if that would affect arrow speeds. Thanks, -Tyler Asked on 4/25/2012 by CO boy Know the answer? Texas A: They are not mounted with suction, however, the adhesive surface is somewhat concave and flattens out when applied. The adhesive is very good and does appear to be double-sided tape or similar. Q: Where do these actually mount? Is it kind of just at my own discretion? Or is there an "ideal" place to put them on the limbs? Do they come with instructions? Oh and also, are the 4 pieces actually separate from eachother? Or are they attached in 2 groups of 2? The pic looks like there are 2 connected by a strip of rubber. Try them at a few different spots to see what works best for you. Answered on 2/7/2011 by Anonymous A: They come with "general" location suggestions, and these have worked pretty well for me. If you're a perfectionist you'll have to experiment with different locations,however,use double-back tape to experiment with because peeling off the backing and applying is a "permament" attachment!
