I ask because the old Barge Cement (pictured yellow tube) was a super product for all leather work, but the new formula (less toxic, I guess) doesn't stick nearly as well and will dry out and lose all adhesion after a while. Also, I have bought at least 2 tubes in which the glue had separated and could not be mixed up again. Asked on 6/13/2011 by Huntryx from Upstate NY Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: It will work. But, we find that you will get a better result if you soak the snakeskin in water to make it more pliable.
