  • Q:

Hi, I just got a 50# PSE Legacy longbow and was testing it out and I really like the bow, but it has a ton of hand shock. Is there anything you guys carry that would improve this?

You might want to play with the brace height to see if that will help you out a lot of times that will. String silencers help out a lot to or you could try out some limb savers they take a lot of shock out a bow as well.

  • Q:

will the Shur-Grip fit on a PSE Kingfisher? The stock grip (or lack thereof) is fairly uncomfortable if shooting a lot and I'd like to fix that.

      A:

Yes, the Shur grip would be an added welcome to the Kingfisher for making that grip more comfortable. It should fit like a glove.

      A:

This grip is essentially a very wide rubberband that barely stretches to fit tightly over a typical longbow grip. I don't think that you'll be able to stretch it enough to fit it over the wider parts of the PSE Kingfisher riser (although I've never tried, and I could be wrong).

      A:

You will not be able to put the Shur-Grip on a Hoyt Buffalo recurve due to the thickness of the riser.

what's the thickest circumference this could stretch? i use a recurve

      A:

This will stretch quite a bit when you start to roll it over the handle area. I have not found a recurve that you could not put the Shur-grip on. It may take two people to get it on but once its on it will not come off.
