Brace height is from the deepest part of the grip to the bow string. For the Dalaa, brace height is best measured to the center of the plunger hole (or crest of the shelf rest ramp). Bow weight effects how many strands the bow string needs to be. It depends on the manufacturer, but string length is normally either 3" or 4" less than the bow's AMO length.
