Q: Dear Sirs, What type wax should I use with this string? Is this the fastest recurve string available ? I do have Fast Flight capability. Thank you,Bob Asked on 4/25/2013 by Bob from Georgia Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Simple bow wax should be fine. You can also use beeswax. As far as speed is concerned, it's just as good if not better than a fast flight string. Sent from Ruben's iphone Answered on 4/29/2013 by Anonymous A: I recommend using the string makers wax. It seems to the best. Answered on 4/26/2013 by Clint from 3Rivers Archery

Q: What size noc is recommended for a 58' string? Asked on 1/31/2013 by Mntmaniac from Lewistown, Mt Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: For all of the Lazer strings a medium nock works very well. Answered on 1/31/2013 by Justin from 3Rivers Archery A: I'm not sure if you're asking about the nock on the arrow or the nocking point for the string, however both are determined by the thickness of the serving on your bow string and not the length of the string. I hope this helps! Answered on 1/31/2013 by Anonymous
Q: Will this bow string work for my 2012 bear grizzly recurve bow? Can't find out if my bow is fast flight compatible. Asked on 10/31/2012 by ? from Houma, LA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: No, the Grizzly is the only current Bear bow that will not be able to use a high performance string. You will want to stick with either a B50 or Dacron string. Q: I've been shooting with the same string for over a decade, How do you measure to find how long the string should be? Just measure the old one or measure the bow unstrung? Asked on 7/12/2012 by mickie from lonaconing MD Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: A good rule of thumb is for a recurve deduct 4'' off of the AMO length and 3'' off the AMO length of a longbow. Doing this will allow you to get a string that is very close to what you need and you can adjust it to brace height by twisting it. If this is an older bow that is not fast flight capable you will want to use B-50 or Dacron only. Answered on 7/13/2012 by Art from 3Rivers Archery

Asked on 9/11/2011 by Ron from Radnor, PA Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: If a string is taken care of and waxed it can last years, but if you don't take care of it you will replace it every 6 months - 1 year. If you are worried, order a new string put it on the bow and use the old one as a back up. Answered on 9/15/2011 by Shawn from 3Rivers Archery
