    I bought these silencers for my recurve but I'm havng trouble installing them. I followed the instructions but when I place the wool between the strands of string and shoot they come off? Should I tie them in place to get them started?

      A:

      you will find a center in these silencers marked with a piece of thread. Even the hair of the silencer out to each side. Now you will want to split the string in half and then insert the center of the silencer into the center of the string. If you are using a endless loop string then you will want to serve the silencer in but if you have a Flemish twist string you will not need to.

    I just bought these for a recurve bow. they came in little bundles, tied in the middle. when installing these, should I remove the string that they are tied together with?

      No, use that string as the point that goes between the bundles.

      I left the strings on and jsut slipped them between my string without any further work. They nitted themselves around the string while shooting.
