      A:

I'm sorry I can't just say, do this and then do that, because I've since switched to a really simple old-school rest on my coyote. But I started with a whisker-b and I was able to get it mounted. Are you mounting on the inside or outside of the riser? I know that once or twice on initial setup, I had to think outside the box in order to get everything to work.
Side note: I'm on my third set of limbs from PSE and I haven't had the bow more than nine months.

  • Q:

can i shoot this bow straight off the shelf
    Asked on 7/30/2013 by meho555 from bastrop,la

    • A:

no. I use the NAP wire rest that attaches through the threaded hole in the riser. The window is cut past center and the 'shelf' is radiused so an arrow cannot rest on it. This riser is actually from a small frame compound PSE bow adaped to a recurve.

No, it will need a string knok and a arrow rest, then tuned.

No this bow requires a elevated rest

      A:

With a bear hair rest it is possible but not without a loss in accuracy. I would recommend a plunger style arrow rest because of the past center cut on the riser. Until I bought a plunger rest I had to rig a temporary fix by gluing a piece of foam cut exactly to push my arrow into my specifications for "center". Hope this helps.

This is a gray bow i have the 60# at 29 inches more than enough to hunt big game.  So far no problems, also you will need to buy an arrow rest. It fits me perfectly but you have to make sure you measure your draw length before ordering.

      A:

As long as you have a heavy enough arrow and a bow that is around 55# at your draw you should not have a problem hunting moose and bear.

  • Q:

Does the riser accept IFL limbs and if not, can IFL limbs be adapted to fit the riser or vica versa?
    Asked on 3/25/2012 by Anonymous

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

No the Coyote riser does not accept ILF limbs. I do not know of any conversion kits that would allow you to convert the limbs or the riser.

  • Q:

I see compound bow users with peep apertures in their strings to use with their sight pins. This bow appears to be able to use sight pins but no peep apertures. Can you use the sight pins effectively without the apetures in the string? ( Considering buying this because I am looking for way to tighten up my shooting without going compund or crossbow)
Asked on 2/15/2012 by Karl from Virginia

    1 answer

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

Pins sights can be used effectively without peep sights installed in the string, by the use solid achor points and form can eliminate them.
