  • Q:

Is it recommended to shoot off the shelf with this bow? I was debating between the Dorado and this but the Dorado does not seem shelf compatible so I am really leaning towards the Gamemaster II.
Any info would be great, as I am new to archery.
    Thanks

      A:

Both the Dorado and the GameMaster II have a radiused, cut-past center self. Meaning both can be shot off the shelf just fine. They have a plunger bushing for elevated shooting as well. Both bows are great for the beginner. If you have a shorter draw length (under 28") the shorter Dorado may be a better option for you though, and longer draw (say 29"+) the longer GameMaster II may be better for you. • Q:

Is it possible to use a thunderhorn 2 point limb bolt quiver on this bow?

      A:

It is possible but I would not recommend it. This would be very cumbersome when trying to attach the limbs and removing them from the riser.

I would not recommend using a sight for this bow. If you do need a sight any of the pin sight's will work.

  • Q:

Do you folks have the different style handles for this bow? Do you recommend shooting from a rest or the shelf with this bow? Does it matter if you shoot split or three below finger style? Does the case that comes with this bow accommodate arrows?

      A:

No we only have the handle that comes with the bow, I like to shoot off the shelf, split finger is most popular for shooters starting out. The bow comes with a case not arrows.

    • A:

It is personal choice to shoot off the shelf or getting an elevated rest. The elevated rest should have better accuracy, but off the self is more secure from the "hunting" aspect as less parts that can fall off, or get damaged in the woods.

Split finger or 3-Under is personal choice too. 3-under gets the arrow closer to your eye, but you can become proficient with both. Just what you like. I like split as the arrow sits more "secure" on the string to me.

The case that comes with bow is designed for only holding the bow and string. No place for arrows.
