      A:

Both bows are going to shoot approximately 180 ft./s the limbs are made of the exact same material and are interchangeable the only difference between the two bows are the risers. The biggest factor is what green arrow you would be shooting that would determine how fast it shoots

  • Q:

What's the physical weight of the Dorado 60". And how does the quality stackup to other bows in its class...say the Bear takedown recurve?

      A:

The Dorado weighs just under 4 lbs. It's a good bow, but I am more partial to the Bear Takedown.

It does have a little buzz I like to run the brace height higher. That takes a lot out of it

No this bow is not loud. But if you are planning on hunting with it. You might want to shoot it with a rest this bow is not designed to shoot off the shelf.. I shoot off the shelf but I built it out passed center with bondo. Also the pads and rest that come with it are not ideal.

Yes the riser is drilled to accept a side quiver and a two piece quiver.

      A:

The riser is drilled and we fit a Tight Spot quiver on without issue. If the Kwikee mounts the same, you should have no issue. Hope that helps!

  • Q:

Thanks for those who responded to previous question. Have one more, I shoot a 62LB@28 horse bow and the hand shock is starting to hurt my wrist to where I can't really shoot much. How much hand shock does the Dorado have? Any info would be appreciated.

    • Staff Reviewer

      A:

The weight of the arrows you use and the string silencers will affect the hand shock of the bow. Overall though, the Dorado's are going to have a low amount of hand shock, if any at all.
