This is a gray bow i have the 60# at 29 inches more than enough to hunt big game. So far no problems, also you will need to buy an arrow rest. It fits me perfectly but you have to make sure you measure your draw length before ordering.

A:
As long as you have a heavy enough arrow and a bow that is around 55# at your draw you should not have a problem hunting moose and bear.

Does the riser accept IFL limbs and if not, can IFL limbs be adapted to fit the riser or vica versa?

A:
No the Coyote riser does not accept ILF limbs. I do not know of any conversion kits that would allow you to convert the limbs or the riser.

Q:
I see compound bow users with peep apertures in their strings to use with their sight pins. This bow appears to be able to use sight pins but no peep apertures. Can you use the sight pins effectively without the apetures in the string? ( Considering buying this because I am looking for way to tighten up my shooting without going compund or crossbow)

A:
Pins sights can be used effectively without peep sights installed in the string, by the use solid achor points and form can eliminate them.

A:
The riser is cut past center, so what I did was using some foam I painted black, some duco glue and a adhesive strike plate I built the edge of the riser out to make it shoot center off the shelf. I actually found by not doing this my top limb was getting slightly tweaked since the arrows were slapping to the right at release. After I built it out to center, no issues. Also, if you're a shelf shooter, I used self adhesive velcro for the arrow rest on the shelf. Alot more durable than any of the "beaver hair" etc, that I used in the past. (Just be sure to use the soft "pile" portion, not the hook side of the velcro.)

What weight for arrows would you need for a 40 pound bow?

A:
For spine I would go with the Traditional Only 500's or even the Beman ICS Bowhunters in a 500. For actual arrow weight I would try to stay right around 8-10 grains per pound of draw weight of the bow, so you would be looking at trying to get a finished arrow weight of right around 320-400 grains.
