Q:
What would be the best target arrows for this bow with a 40#. Do you sell complete arrows or just shafts and points?

A:
We sell arrows already fletched and you can pick what length to cut them and mount the inserts. You can also get a custom fletch on any bear shafts. The Maxima Blue Streak is my favorite target shaft.

Q:
Hello! Help me with advice, please. I have 29" draw length. One time I shot Bear Grizzly and it was smooth and fine at my DL, but I've heard that Mamba fits only 28" DL. Will it be good for my 29Dl? I can't buy Hunter in Russia, only mamba. And is Mamba FF string compatible? Thank you!

The Mamba would be fine past 28. Yes the Mamba is Fast Flight capable, the Grizzly is not.

Q:
The Martin website lists this as coming in draw weights of 30-70, but I only see 40+. My wife is looking for a 30-32# draw on a left-hand bow. Is that available (I am assuming special order)?

A:
Their is a string included with the Martin Mamba recurve, but it is not set with a nocking point. You would have to install that yourself or 3Rivers can do a bow set up if you place your order over the phone or by email: Info@3RiversArchery.com
Answered on 1/16/2012 by Johnathan Karch from 3Rivers Archery
A:
this bow does come with both a string (no nocks) and traditional rest, however, both must be installed by you.

Does the Mamba have inserts for a bow quiver?

A:
NO, BUT I PURCHACED THREADED BUSHINGS THAT COME WITH INSTALATION INSTRUCTIONS. MAKE SURE YOU USE DRILL PRESS. ONCE YOU DETERMINE LOCATION FOR QUIVER DO NOT TRY AND MARK HOLES BY PLACING MOUNTING BRACKE ON BOW AND MARKING LIKE ME. MARK DISTANCE ADVISED BY MANUFACTURE OF BUSHINGS

No it does not

Q:
I have a rotator cuff injury and no longer can pull my 55 pound Martin compound would a recurve allow me to have an easier or much smoother pull

A:
For a smoother bow you may have to drop down in weight and get the longest bow you can find. The longer the bow the smoother the draw will be.
Answered on 8/2/2011 by Art from 3Rivers Archery
A:
Get your shoulder repaired or get physical therapy. I was able to draw a 55# compound after a serious shoulder muscle tear with good physical therapy. After my shoulder was repaired by a surgeon who specializes in shoulders I pull a 60# compound and a 45# recurve without a problem. My injury was a long time in the making but wasn't the end of the world.
My surgery was 14 months ago and I'm 64. Don't give up.

Q:
i have a draw of 30.5 inches, would this effect the way the bow shoots?
Asked on 7/24/2011 by Anonymous

A:
If your draw length is 30.5'' I would not recommend this bow because you will have quiet a bit of finger pinch at full draw and also this short bow will stack at your draw length. You may want to look at the Martin Hunter.-
