I shoot 60#, also wondering if it shoots as smooth as a tomahawk diamond SS longbow. Asked on 7/11/2012 by drewny from Vandalia, IL Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This bow is quite a bit slower than most of the Tomahawks. It will be smooth for a recurve, but not as smooth as a longbow. We do not have a measurement of the exact FPS but his other recurves are normally in the high 180's/low 190's with an arrow that is about 9 grains per.
