I purchased the Dymondwood black and red stripe A riser and absolute complete overall length of the riser from as far across as I can measure is 16 3/8”. I cannot help you on the B riser, sorry I didn’t buy that one.
Best regards, Martin

I measured the lengths of the risers from the bolt in the hinge. The A riser is 16" and the B riser is 20".

Q:
I ealier asked about new limbs for my Fred Bear T/D recurve. You said the limbs would work but did not say which to order #3 or #1 limbs. My Riser is serial #B-6856 and my present limbs are 60" 55# serial # 28-9983. I want a set of 40# limbs to replace my 55# limbs

A:
The #1's will get you a 60 inch bow with your B riser.

A:
#1 Limbs will make a 60" bow on a B-Riser. #3 Limbs would give you a 64" bow.
If your current riser / limb combo makes a 60" bow and you want it to be 60" with your new 40lb limbs order #1's.

Q:
I have a Bear Take Down 60" that has two hex nuts that hold the limbs in place, will these limbs fit my Bear TD? The reason I ask is, I am about to turn 60 and my bow is a 65#, and I need at most a 50#. 28" draw.
If not, I reckon I can try E-bay, but I never trust anything bought there.

These limbs will not fit on your bow since these require the latch system and not a bolt.

Q:
Dear Sir
Sorry but I have another question about the Limbs #1 60# I ordered it 5/3/2011 for my Victor Magnesium TakeDown Bow
in 56" length
one of the answer was,
if it is the A Handle, you will want 65#,#1 limbs
They will give you the 56" length
Is this right or wrong????
But I want a 60# bow not a 65 one.
Thank you very much for your answer

Q:
Dear Sir,
I would like to Order 60# Limbs for the Fred Bear Handl ( Victor TD build in the early 70's)
I think it is the short Handl because the Bow is 56" in length.
I want to keep the Bow in the same length with 60# Limbs
Is the Victor short Handle Strong enough to support 60# limbs
so what kind of Limbs should I Order #3 or #1 ?
I look forward to hearing from you
Yours sincerely,
Werner Graf

A:
You will need #1 limbs to get a 56" bow if it is the same length as an A handle. It should be able to support the 60# limbs without a problem.

It should say on the limb which it is. Other than that you will need to measure the limb to find out.
