Q:
I am a 5'4" tall gal, mid-aged, in shape. I am novice, wants to go bow hunting. My draw length is 27.5. I am unsure what lenght I should get my bow. I like the Kodiak Magnum but am open to other suggestions. Thank you.

With that long of a draw length I would recommend getting something a little longer than the Magnum. Something closer to the 58" to 62" range would be more forgiving for you to shoot. Make sure to check with your local game laws on poundage minimums before ordering the bow.

A:
Yes, you can shoot 3 under with the Magnum. The only side effect is that the bow may make a bit more noise. You should easily be able to remedy the extra sound with a good set of silencers.

Q:
Can a b-50 Flemish string be used with this bow? If not, what would be the optimum string to use on this bow? I have 55# Kodiak Magnum with a 28 inch draw.

A:
Depending on the year, the Magnum is capable of using a high performance string. You could use the fast flight or Lazer Strings to get a little more performance out of the bow.

A:
Since the bow is designed for the Dynaflight 97 Flemish Twist I would say yes as the B-50 would be more gentle on the bow string notches.

Q:
What is the maximum draw length of the KM? Can it safely take a 32" draw?

A:
I would not recommend to use this bow if your draw length is 32''. A draw length this long will put a lot of stress on the bow causing it to fail. With your longer draw length I would recommend the Super Kodiak since it is a 60'' bow. The maximum draw length that I would recommend for the Kodiak Magnum is a 28''-29'' draw length.

That is going to be up to you on both accounts. Those bows look distinctly different. The weight will be up to you as well.
