  • Q:

Just bought another manufacturers longbow of a similar design, and it has a lot of handshock with a 10.1gpp arrow. How does your perform?

Also, how long from the time I order it until I receive it? 62", 55lb bow?

With an arrow that heavy there will be no hand shock. I have shot arrows on my Tomahawk down to 6 grains per pound and only just started to feel a little hand shock.

  • Q:

    Hi 3Rivers Archery,

I have been searching for a good web site delivering a variety of traditional hunting bows, and found yours the best by far. I do not own a traditional hunting bow and I am looking to buy my first, as well as arm guards and arrows (eveything I need to get started!). I have grown up in the country where we own a vast wood territory. So Ive always liked to get lost in the woods and track down deers and other animals in all four season. I like to be silent and wear native mocassins in the fall/winter/spring in order to be swift and discrete. My question is that i dont know which bow would be good for me. I am looking for a real traditional bow, with great accuracy that could take down a buck, as well as more delicate animals such as wild turkey and partriges. Is it possible to have only one bow for multiple game? What is the difference between longbow, recurves, primitive bow, exotic bow? Do you deliver in Canada ? Thank you

Yes, it is possible to have one bow for different game. I do normally recommend different arrows for different game though. There a lot of differences between the different styles of bows. I recommend that you give us a call at 1-866-587-9501 or send an email to info@3riversarchery.com and we will be able to answer all of your questions for you.
