  • Q:

Can paper targets be attached to this and it still function?

      A:

No, it is not recommended. It would work yes, but the purpose is to catch arrows from time to time, not regularly. It will wear a hole if you keep hitting it, then arrows will pass through. It is ment to be only used as a back stop, not as a target.

Answered on 11/18/2013 by Keith from 3Rivers Archery
    • A:

Yes, but I would not recommend it. This is a backstop, not a target. It is not meant to be shot at repeatedly, but meant to catch the occasional misses. I have this hung behind my archery block for the occasional miss.

  • Q:

    I actually have 3 questions.
First, is is wider than tall or taller than wide?
Second, how much space is needed behind this? (It would be in front of a fence that has splintered my carbon and wood arrows and bent my aluminum set.)
Lastly, is it able to be hung outside and left out through all weather and temperatures?
Asked on 10/23/2013 by D from Lancaster, PA

      A:

The width and lenght is determined which way you rotate the backstop when you hang it. you only need a foot or so between the bag and the object behind it. You can leave it out side but if you are not going to use it for a while it would be best to put it inside.

  • Q:

How and where would one hang this? Does it come with its own hanging stand or framework? That is not clear from description.

      A:

This does not come with a stand. The best way to hang this is by the rack that is sold separately: http://www.3riversarchery.com/The+Shield+Rack_i6925_baseitem.html

    • A:

I constructed a PVC frame for it cheap, and I have seen wooden frames built for it. It is pretty heavy and I should have used thicker PVC. The metal frame from the company is awesome, but I couldn't afford it at the time.
