    I currently am wanting to tune a Bear Alaskan. The bow is rated at 35@28. I draw 30.5 inches. I would want my shafts to be in the 31.5-32 inch range, and am expecting to be using about 125 gr tips. I'm thinking the trad lite or hammerhead lite would be about right for spine. How long are these shafts?

      I would not recommend that you use either of those arrows with this bow. You would need to leave the shafts full length and stack over 250 grains up front to make the spine weak enough to use with that bow.       I highly recomend trying the Hammerhead series test kit. Most likely you're going to have to do some cutting on the shaft no matter what you try, but with the plunger button it's going to be quick and easy to tune your bow. My Alaskan is a 45 pound @ 28 and I'm shooting a 30 inch Hammerhead Traditional with a 165 grain point. This bow and arrow combination is the best I've had in almost 50 years of shooting traditional equipment. I think these shaft were 32 inches before I cut them. Hope this helps.

    Why is kit C less expensive than kit A or B if it has four shafts instead of three?

      Test Kit B has the Hammerhead Heavyweight shaft. The shafts in it are more expensive than the shafts that are in Test Kit C.

    Are these fletched with tips? If not looking for fletched test kit. Could you recommend the best kit for a Bear Kodiak Magnum.

      These arrows are not fletched and they do not have the tips installed. All of our test kits are going to be bare shafts with no points.
