I highly recomend trying the Hammerhead series test kit. Most likely you're going to have to do some cutting on the shaft no matter what you try, but with the plunger button it's going to be quick and easy to tune your bow. My Alaskan is a 45 pound @ 28 and I'm shooting a 30 inch Hammerhead Traditional with a 165 grain point. This bow and arrow combination is the best I've had in almost 50 years of shooting traditional equipment. I think these shaft were 32 inches before I cut them. Hope this helps.
