I have heard of people going up in spine for tapered shafts. From 60-65 to 65-70 for example. For the most part you will shoot the same spine arrow whether it is a tapered or a parallel shaft. Answer this question 1 answer A: I am sorry but the 10" taper plane can not do this. The is too narrow and angle is not right for what you need. I would recommend using a disc sander for your needs.
