Q: should i start with a heavier spined arrow i shoot 60-65 Asked on 4/22/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Tapering a shaft will not change the spine. I have heard of people going up in spine for tapered shafts. From 60-65 to 65-70 for example. For the most part you will shoot the same spine arrow whether it is a tapered or a parallel shaft. Q: Can I use this taper to plane two flat tapers in order to insert shaft into a hardwood billet to make a footed shaft? Asked on 11/20/2010 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: I am sorry but the 10" taper plane can not do this. The is too narrow and angle is not right for what you need. I would recommend using a disc sander for your needs.
