Q: Can this be used for wood shafts? If not, is there a tool for stripping wood shafts? Asked on 2/24/2013 by Aleseller1745 from Western Maryland Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: I have only used it on aluminum arrows, so I really cannot answer from experience. My thought is that it would be a risky proposition as the cutting blade is very sharp and would likely dig into the shafts,,,,, hope this helped. Answered on 2/25/2013 by Skyryder from Holland Landing, Ontario A: You can use it for wood you just have to be really careful you don't cut into the shaft its self. Q: This stripper can be used on Bamboo arrows? Asked on 11/21/2011 by Rodrigo from Curitiba, PR, Brasil Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: It can, but it is more designed to be used on carbon and aluminum shafts. Answered on 11/21/2011 by Shawn from 3Rivers Archery A: I believe so if due care is taken using consistent pressure and movement with the blade on the shaft. It could be easy to use too much force at the beginning which may result in gouging the shaft. Answered on 4/25/2012 by Daniel from New Zealand
Q: Can this tool also be used with carbon arrows or alloy only? Asked on 9/12/2011 by changbob from Karlsruhe, Germany Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: Removes feathers quickly and cleanly from aluminum, glass, or carbon arrows. Answered on 9/12/2011 by Shawn from 3Rivers Archery A: it works good on all shafts. in my opinion it fits aluminum shafts best. i would advise ordering extra blade it, because it only comes with one. Answered on 10/8/2011 by DARRELL from ARKANSAS A: I have used it a lot on my carbons, and it works just as easily as it does on alloy. Answered on 9/19/2011 by Grampa Joe from Texas
