To fbrass from arkansas.
Nope, there's no mistake with regards to my arrow length, neither is there a typing mistake. My arrows are indeed 37.5" and they are heat treated bamboo arrows.
I use these set of arrows when I use my Japanese bow (227 meters when braced) which I draw to 35" as well, as when I use on my Hun-styled asymmetrical horse bow.
You assuming wrongly, in that I do archery in the same style as you and use common anchoring points.
I shoot using a thumb draw, and the style is such that I draw pass my ear and the arrow is shot off the thumb knuckle of my bow hand. (i.e I shoot back to front, instead of right to left).
Because of the length of the arrows, I find it difficult to find hard arrow cases to fit 50 of these, 37.5" arrows that I own.
I was looking for a hard case for airline travel in specific and when I saw the 3 rivers case, thought that it would fit the bill. I guess it is still too short for my arrows.
